Electrical Engineer

**Electrical Engineer – Illumination \& Power Outlets** We are seeking an experienced Electrical/Electronics Engineer to take ownership of hardware development within illumination and power outlet systems (including Wireless Phone Charging, USB, and 12V solutions) for a leading company in the automotive industry. In this role, you will act as HW responsible within cross‑functional development teams and collaborate closely with suppliers to ensure hardware quality, requirement compliance, and delivery performance. You will contribute to requirement specification work, hardware evaluations in rigs and vehicles, testing activities, and packaging discussions for future vehicle programs. The position requires strong technical depth in electronics development, requirement management, and hardware verification. You will interact with teams across Interior Systems, Design, EMC, Electrical Performance, Ergonomics, and Vehicle Engineering. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead hardware and electronics development within illumination and power outlet systems. * Drive supplier collaboration to ensure hardware compliance with specifications and quality standards. * Create and refine hardware requirements and technical documentation. * Evaluate hardware performance in rigs and vehicles. * Support verification and validation activities. * Participate in packaging and integration discussions for upcoming vehicle programs. * Work closely with project leaders, software engineers, and test engineers in a cross‑functional setup. **Required Experience \& Skills** * M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent technical background. * 3–4\+ years of experience in electronics hardware development. * Strong experience with electronics requirement management. * Experience with automotive electronics (preferable but not mandatory). * Ability to work with suppliers in hardware development projects. * Proficiency in English (spoken and written). * Valid driver’s license B.
