This approach has helped us gain a competitive edge by aligning personal aspirations with our corporate vision. **Position Summary:** Electrical Engineer will have extensive knowledge and hands\-on experience in power, Facilities Management Systems, Mechanical Systems used in buildings, HVAC, BMU (Building Maintenance Units) machines, firefighting systems, generators, and construction/renovation projects involving electrical and mechanical systems. Electrical Engineer shall also have complete understanding and experience of high\-rise projects and mega\-scale projects. The Senior Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining E\&M systems and power/energy to ensure the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our facilities. Will serve as the advisor on all electrical and mechanical systems of buildings to the Consultant Projects. **RESPONSIBILITIES** **1\. Elevators/Vertical Transport System:** * Responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of all elevator and escalator systems within the facility/organization * Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of elevator and escalator equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards/regulations and ensure safe operations * Ensure immediate and effective solutions, respond to emergency calls, and provide assistance to passengers and staff in a timely and professional manner **2\. Building Management \& Control System:** * Technical knowledge of central control room and associated systems * Have good knowledge of modern BMS software like Honeywell systems, etc. * Monitor the smooth and error\-free operations of all Building Management Systems **3\. Facilities Management:** * Technical knowledge of planning, designing/selection of multiple systems for the facilities management of existing and new buildings/high\-rise towers * Updated knowledge of latest technologies and systems for the design/development and upkeep/maintenance and management of facilities * Establishment or upgradation of central control room/engineering room and associated systems * Maintain all facilities in operational condition, including through the use of BIM **4\. Power Supply:** * Operation and maintenance of power supply to all buildings and projects when required * Analyze and monitor functioning of LT/HT panels, transformers, etc. * Evaluation/monitoring and ensure smooth functioning of building electrical systems **5\. Generators: Design Load Calculations** * Oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical generators * Ensure generators are ready for emergency use and perform regular testing * Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules/calendar **6\. HVAC Systems: Functioning of HVAC systems** * Diagnose and solve electrical problems * Ensure HVAC systems/chillers are operating efficiently and in compliance with regulations * Sound knowledge of traditional and modern HVAC equipment (VRF, chillers, etc.) **7\. Building Information Model (BIM):** * Must possess skills to work on BIM for planning/designing as well as its use during execution * Planning, implementing, and overseeing automation and smart solutions * Must be fully conversant with energy conservation and green building protocols * Must possess thorough knowledge of planning/designing for LEED certification **8\. Firefighting Systems:** * Design and maintain fire alarm and suppression systems * Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations * Conduct regular testing and maintenance of firefighting systems **9\. Building Maintenance Systems:** * Design, implement, and maintain electrical and mechanical systems for building maintenance * Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in building infrastructure **10\. BMU Machines:** * Manage the electrical systems of modern state\-of\-the\-art BMU * Perform regular inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and functionality **Competencies/Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in electrical engineering projects, preferably with experience in building mechanical systems, new construction projects, building maintenance, and facilities management systems, especially high\-rise building projects * Professional Engineer (PE)/Registered Engineer license from PEC * Strong project management and leadership skills, with excellent problem\-solving and analytical abilities
