**Position Overview:**
This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and continuous availability of power and cooling infrastructure across data centers, communication rooms, and POP sites. The incumbent will support design, operations, maintenance, and vendor management while adhering to established standards and best practices.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Manage and maintain electrical systems including UPS, batteries, generators, switchgear, and distribution panels.
* Oversee HVAC and cooling systems to ensure optimal environmental conditions.
* Execute preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime.
* Monitor and manage 24/7 operations of data centers, communication rooms, and infrastructure systems.
* Ensure availability and performance of AC/DC power systems and cooling infrastructure across sites.
* Design layouts for communication rooms and support infrastructure expansion projects.
* Develop and implement power and cooling solutions in coordination with internal teams and vendors.
* Manage vendor performance, ensuring compliance with SLAs, AMCs, and contractual obligations.
* Implement data center standards, SOPs, and safety protocols.
* Utilize DCIM and NMS tools for monitoring, reporting, and operational efficiency.
* Support facility upgrades, audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
**Requirements:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
* 3–5 years of relevant experience in telecom, datacom, or data center operations.
* Strong technical knowledge of electrical power and cooling systems.
* Hands\-on experience with DCIM and NMS tools.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Visio, and Microsoft Excel.
* Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving capabilities.
* Effective communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to work in rotational shifts and support 24/7 operations.
