Job Description
**Director of Sales (US) \| Industrial Manufacturing \| Greater Boston Area (Hybrid, Travel Required)**
We’re partnered with a global industrial manufacturing organization to identify a
**Director of Sales (US)**
to lead and scale a national team. This is a high\-impact leadership role with strong visibility to executive leadership and a clear path for long\-term growth.
This position offers flexibility to be based anywhere in the Greater Boston area, with limited in\-office requirements and \~50% travel across the U.S.
**What you’ll be doing:**
* Lead, coach, and develop a US\-based sales team, including regional managers and technical specialists
* Drive national sales strategy across multiple product lines within a capital equipment environment
* Own pipeline management, forecasting, and CRM adoption (consultative sales approach)
* Manage complex, long\-cycle deals ranging from $80K to $2M\+
* Partner with key clients on strategic, multi\-year projects and business development initiatives
* Build structure, processes, and accountability within a growing, evolving team
**What they’re looking for:**
* 12–20 years of experience in sales within industrial manufacturing
* 3–5\+ years leading a team of regional sales managers (4\+ direct reports)
* Strong background in capital equipment, powder, or liquid processing
* Experience selling into food, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industries is a plus
* Proven ability to lead remote teams and operate in a fast\-changing, ambiguous environment
* Strong consultative selling and CRM discipline
