**Description** **Base Salary:** Starting at $200,000 **Position Overview** Designs for Health Canada is seeking a seasoned, results\-oriented Director of Sales to lead and evolve our national sales organization. This leader will oversee a sales remit exceeding $20M and manage a team of five direct reports (four Regional Territory Managers and one Inside Sales Lead). This role is responsible for driving sustained topline growth, strengthening sales discipline, enhancing KPI accountability, and modernizing our go\-to\-market structure from a historically entrepreneurial model to a scalable, performance\-driven sales organization. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with the professional nutritional supplement industry (or adjacent healthcare/pharma sectors), a proven track record of delivering strong sales results, and demonstrated success building structured sales processes, training programs, and high\-performance teams **Key Responsibilities** * Strategic Sales Leadership + Develop and execute the national sales strategy aligned with DFH Canada’s revenue and profitability objectives. + Lead annual and quarterly sales planning, territory optimization, forecasting, and performance reviews. + Identify structural opportunities to improve coverage models, account segmentation, and resource allocation. * Revenue \& Performance Accountability + Own and deliver annual sales targets across all channels, including HCP, Virtual Dispensary, and HFS. + Establish and manage clear KPI frameworks, including revenue growth, new account acquisition, call activity standards, margin performance, and customer retention metrics. + Drive disciplined pipeline management and forecasting accuracy. * Organizational Development \& Sales Excellence + Transition the sales organization from legacy/start\-up operating rhythms to a structured, data\-driven, and accountable performance culture. + Design and implement sales training programs, coaching cadence, and competency frameworks. + Build clear expectations around sales process adherence, CRM utilization, and territory management discipline. * New Business Development + Establish and oversee a national new\-account acquisition strategy. + Ensure robust prospecting frameworks and performance metrics are embedded across the team. + Drive expansion within existing accounts through structured share\-of\-wallet initiatives. * Team Leadership \& Talent Development + Lead, coach, and develop four Regional Territory Managers and one Inside Sales Lead. + Foster a high\-performance, collaborative culture grounded in accountability and continuous improvement. + Recruit and retain top\-tier sales talent aligned with DFH’s professional brand standards. * Cross\-Functional Collaboration + Partner closely with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to ensure alignment across growth initiatives, product launches, and inventory planning. + Provide field intelligence to support innovation, pricing strategy, and competitive positioning. * Compliance \& Governance + Ensure adherence to all company policies, regulatory requirements, and professional brand standards within the Canadian healthcare market. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred. * 10\+ years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably within professional nutritional supplements, pharmaceutical, medical device, or healthcare sectors. * Demonstrated success managing multi\-million\-dollar revenue portfolios ($20M\+ preferred). * Proven experience leading and scaling sales teams across multiple territories. * Track record of implementing structured sales systems, KPI dashboards, and training programs. * Strong analytical and financial acumen (forecasting, margin management, ROI analysis). * Proficiency in CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, NetSuite) and sales performance analytics tools. * Willingness to travel nationally as required. **Core Competencies** * Strategic Thinking \& Commercial Acumen * Results Orientation \& Accountability * Change Leadership \& Organizational Transformation * Sales Process Design \& Execution Excellence * Coaching \& Talent Development * Data\-Driven Decision Making * Executive Presence \& Influencing Skills * Collaborative Cross\-Functional Leadership **Physical Demands:** This role is primarily remote and office\-based, requiring extended computer use and virtual communication.
