**About Keller \& Heckman** Keller \& Heckman LLP is an international law firm with offices in the United States, Europe, and Asia, serving clients globally across regulatory, litigation, and business advisory matters. **Position Summary** Keller \& Heckman LLP is seeking a Director of Human Resources to serve as the firm’s senior HR leader, responsible for guiding the strategy, structure, and delivery of human capital programs across the firm’s global offices. Reporting to the Global Executive Director, this role partners closely with the Management Committee, partners, and Business Operations leadership to support lawyers, scientists, and Business Operations professionals across talent acquisition, performance management, professional development, compensation and benefits, employee relations, HR systems, and employment compliance. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide strategic leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of firmwide performance management and professional development frameworks across Business Operations, lawyers, and scientists * Advise firm leadership on organizational effectiveness, talent strategy, and workforce planning * Oversee recruitment strategy and hiring processes across offices * Lead compensation and benefits programs in partnership with Finance * Provide guidance on employee relations and workplace matters * Oversee HR systems, policies, and reporting * Ensure compliance with employment laws across the jurisdictions in which the firm operates **Required Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Psychology, or a related field required * Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including significant leadership responsibility * Current or recent HR leadership experience at the Director level, or as a highly experienced Senior Manager in a law firm or comparable professional services environment * Demonstrated experience advising senior leaders on sensitive employee relations and organizational matters * Demonstrated experience leading or shaping performance management or talent development frameworks * Strong knowledge of HR disciplines, employment law, and best practices * Ability to operate effectively in a partnership\-based professional services environment **Preferred Qualifications** * Law firm experience strongly preferred * Multi\-office or international experience * SHRM\-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent * Experience using HR technology, data, or generative artificial intelligence tools to improve HR processes **Leadership Competencies** * Strategic thinking and sound judgment * Executive presence and credibility * Strong interpersonal and communication skills * Ability to influence senior stakeholders * Operational discipline and follow\-through **Hybrid Work Arrangement** This role follows a hybrid work model with four days in office and one day remote. Must be local to Washington, D.C. area. **Compensation and Benefits** The anticipated salary range for this position is: $175,000 \- $205,000, representing the low and high end of the salary range. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, job\-related experience, qualifications, and internal alignment.
