DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled VMware Administrator / DevOps Infrastructure Engineer to provide L2/L3 support for enterprise infrastructure environments. This role requires hands\-on expertise in virtualization, systems administration, containerized workloads, and hybrid infrastructure environments, along with strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide **L2/L3 infrastructure support** across virtualized and hybrid environments * Manage and maintain **VMware ESXi environments** , including VMs and VMDK lifecycle * Perform **incident management** , root cause analysis, and timely resolution of issues * Ensure **system availability, performance, and reliability** across infrastructure * Execute **patching, upgrades, and configuration management** activities * Support **containerized workloads** and orchestration environments * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to implement infrastructure improvements * Maintain documentation for systems, processes, and configurations **Core Technical Skills** * **Virtualization:** VMware ESXi (VMDK management) * **Operating Systems:** Ubuntu Server, Windows Server 2022 * **Database:** Microsoft SQL Server * **Virtualization \& Containers:** LXD, QEMU, KVM * **Containerized Workloads:** NGINX, Kafka * **Networking:** Hybrid networking (Overlay / Underlay models) * **Automation \& Scripting:** Bash, PowerShell * **Infrastructure Operations:** Incident management, patching, configuration management **Required Qualifications** * Proven experience in **VMware administration and infrastructure support (L2/L3\)** * Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills * Experience working in **DevOps\-driven environments** * Ability to work independently and handle critical production issues **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with **hybrid cloud or multi\-cloud environments** * Familiarity with **monitoring and logging tools** * Exposure to **CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks** * ITIL or relevant certifications (preferred but not mandatory)
