The ideal candidate will possess over 8 years of experience in DevOps practices, with a strong foundation in programming, cloud\-native architectures, and automation. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable CI/CD pipelines, ensuring the reliability and security of our deployment processes across multiple environments. You will collaborate closely with cross\-functional teams including Engineering, QA, Security, and Operations to streamline workflows, optimize infrastructure, and enhance operational efficiency. Your expertise in AWS and Kubernetes will be vital in deploying, managing, and scaling production workloads, ensuring high availability and performance. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative projects, influence best practices, and contribute to the success of a global organization committed to technological excellence. **Qualifications** * 8\+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or related fields * Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, Go, Bash/Shell, or PowerShell * Hands\-on experience with AWS services including EC2, ECS/EKS, IAM, S3, Lambda, and others * Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, especially Docker and Kubernetes * Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab, or ArgoCD * Familiarity with infrastructure\-as\-code tools like Terraform and CloudFormation * Excellent troubleshooting skills related to build failures, environment inconsistencies, and deployment issues * Ability to work independently and collaboratively, demonstrating strong problem\-solving and root\-cause analysis skills * Relevant certifications in AWS, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices are a plus **Responsibilities** * Develop and maintain automation tools for application builds, deployments, testing frameworks, security controls, and monitoring systems * Own and optimize CI/CD pipelines to support high\-availability, multi\-tier applications across various environments * Act as a technical liaison between Engineering, QA, Security, and Operations teams to ensure seamless and secure delivery workflows * Deploy, scale, and manage production workloads on AWS infrastructure and Kubernetes clusters, including configuration, performance tuning, and reliability enhancements * Identify opportunities to improve deployment efficiency, automation, and release processes by adopting modern DevOps best practices and tooling * Troubleshoot and resolve build failures, compilation issues, and environment inconsistencies across multiple applications and services * Work independently and collaboratively to deliver high\-quality solutions, demonstrating ownership and problem\-solving capabilities * Continuously evaluate and recommend new tools, technologies, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and reliability **Benefits** * Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance coverage * Paid holidays and paid time off * 401(k) retirement plan with company contributions * Long\-term and short\-term disability benefits * Paid parental leave to support work\-life balance * Employee Stock Purchase Plan allowing participation in company growth * Opportunities for professional development and career advancement Equal Opportunity Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
