DevOps Engineer

**DevOps Engineer – London** **Rate:** £405 per day \| Outside IR35 **Location:** London – 2 days onsite **Start Date:** ASAP (March) **Initial Duration:** 6 months, with likely extensions We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a major API programme within a leading financial institution. This role will focus on setting standards for APIs across the bank and enabling the full API lifecycle, including publishing and consuming reusable APIs. **Key Responsibilities** * Support the design, deployment, and management of reusable APIs across the bank. * Contribute to the creation and maintenance of a central API catalogue. * Enable teams to publish, consume, and integrate APIs effectively. * Provide guidance and technical expertise to the development team. * Collaborate with team members working on React (UI), Java Spring Boot, and Python. **Required Skills and Experience** * Strong experience in DevOps practices and Python scripting. * Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS. * Previous experience in API development or integration projects. * Ability to advise and guide teams on technical best practices. * Experience working in multi\-disciplinary teams including front\-end and back\-end developers.
