DevOps Engineer

A high\-growth fintech in London, building cash management and embedded savings solutions for the wealth and investment sector, is looking for a DevOps Engineer to help scale their cloud platform. Their technology connects savers, banks and financial institutions, providing a single place to manage deposits across multiple partner banks and access competitive savings products. **The role** You’ll sit at the heart of the platform, working closely with software engineers to make sure services are reliable, secure and easy to ship into production. You’ll own core pieces of the cloud infrastructure and CI/CD tooling that power savings and treasury products used by individuals, businesses and wealth managers. **What you’ll be doing** * Designing, building and running production infrastructure on public cloud (with a strong focus on AWS). * Managing Kubernetes\-based workloads in production, including deployments, scaling and day‑to‑day operations. * Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines to take applications from code to production in a safe, automated way. * Implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform (or similar), keeping environments consistent and repeatable. * Defining and improving the end‑to‑end release process – from commit, through build and test, to deployment and rollback. * Embedding security into the software delivery lifecycle, integrating security tooling and checks into pipelines (DevSecOps). * Working with engineers to diagnose and resolve production issues related to deployments, configuration and infrastructure. * Contributing to monitoring, alerting and reliability practices across the platform. **What we’re looking for** * Strong experience working with at least one major cloud provider in production, ideally AWS. * Hands‑on experience running Kubernetes in production environments. * Solid background building CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, CircleCI or similar). * Practical experience with Terraform or other infrastructure\-as\-code tools. * Good understanding of how applications move from code to production and how to automate that path. * Exposure to security tooling and DevSecOps practices (e.g. integrating scans, managing secrets, hardening infrastructure)
