DevOps Engineer | Remote

**Position:** DevOps Engineer – Ubuntu Expert **Type:** Hourly contract **Compensation:** $60–$120/hour **Location:** Remote **Commitment:** 10–40 hours/week **Role Responsibilities** * Audit guidance for Ubuntu systems including security, firewall, and kernel configurations. * Evaluate package management workflows using APT, Snap, and PPA. * Review Bash scripts for accuracy, security, and compliance with Ubuntu standards. * Assess system setup processes including LAMP/LEMP stacks and systemd configurations. * Contribute to secure and scalable cloud infrastructure design using Ubuntu. * Document findings and provide clear, actionable improvements. **Requirements** * Expert\-level experience with Ubuntu and Linux command\-line environments. * Strong knowledge of system security, permissions, SSH, and access control. * Experience with shell scripting and automation in Linux environments. * Familiarity with cloud architecture and infrastructure management. * Ability to analyze logs and system performance using monitoring tools. * Excellent communication skills for explaining technical concepts clearly. **Application Process (Takes 20 Min)** * Upload resume * Interview (15 min) * Submit form
