DevOps Engineer

**DevOps Engineer \- Wearables** We're working with a cutting\-edge fintech innovator specializing in secure wearable payment technology on this exciting opportunity. This is a rare opportunity for a Junior\-to\-Mid level Engineer to take full ownership of both cloud and physical infrastructure for a high\-growth payment solution platform. You will be hands\-on with a deep AWS stack, utilizing Terraform for IaC to scale technology used by financial institutions and major stadiums worldwide. **The Role** * Design, maintain, and optimize a robust AWS cloud environment including EC2, Lambda, and DynamoDB. * Drive the automation of infrastructure deployment using Terraform and managing traffic via Route 53 and CloudFront. * Manage and monitor system health using AWS CloudWatch and CloudTrail to ensure 100% uptime for global payment transactions. * Take charge of physical infrastructure, including occasional hands\-on maintenance at the company’s dedicated London data centre. * Secure the network perimeter using AWS Firewall Manager, Certificate Manager, and sophisticated SNS/SQS messaging workflows. **What You'll Need** * Proven experience managing AWS cloud services (Elastic Beanstalk, S3, RDS, and IAM). * Strong networking knowledge, specifically with Cisco and Juniper switches and firewalls. * Hands\-on experience with Linux\-based server administration and shell scripting. * Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform. * A proactive "owner" mindset with the desire to drive DevOps projects from conception to completion. **What's On Offer** * Salary up to £60,000 depending on experience. * High\-impact role with genuine autonomy and the chance to shape infrastructure strategy. * Exposure to a diverse tech stack spanning hardware, networking, and elite cloud services. * Work with a scaling team in the highly sought\-after wearable tech and IoT payments space. **Apply via Haystack today!**
