DevOps Engineer

**Role \- DevOps Engineer** **Location \- Toronto, ON (4 days onsite)** **Job Description:** We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms, a strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, and expertise in tools like Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and various DevSecOps tools. The role requires excellent troubleshooting and communication skills, as well as hands\-on experience with Linux/Windows administration. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes. * Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure on Azure or similar platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. * Work with Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, and other build tools to support development and deployment workflows. * Implement and manage DevSecOps tools to ensure security is integrated into the development lifecycle. * Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, testing, and production environments. * Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline processes and improve system performance. * Perform Linux/Windows administration tasks, including system monitoring, patching, and configuration. * Ensure best practices for source control, branching, and versioning using tools like GitHub and Bitbucket. * Monitor and optimize system performance, ensuring high availability and reliability. * Stay updated with the latest DevOps tools, trends, and technologies to continuously improve processes. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** * Strong experience with Azure or similar cloud platforms (AWS, GCP). * In\-depth knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar. * Proficiency with GitHub, Bitbucket, and other version control systems. * Hands\-on experience with DevSecOps tools (e.g., SonarQube, Checkmarx, Snyk, or similar). * Strong troubleshooting and problem\-solving skills. * Experience with Linux and Windows administration. * Familiarity with infrastructure\-as\-code (IaC) tools like Terraform or ARM templates. * Excellent communication and collaboration skills. * Ability to work in a fast\-paced, agile environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar. * Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes. * Knowledge of monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor. * Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
