**Deloitte Azure DevOps Engineer** **Location:** St Louis, MO (4x Days in Purina Office) **Duration:** 5\+ Year long term contract **Compensation:** 105K\-165K **Benefits:** Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K ect. ***\*Looking for a DevOps Engineer who has expertise in Azure and Databricks and can script in either python/pyspark or powershell\**** **Role Overview** Deloitte is looking for a Platform Engineer to join on of our clients. This role is responsible for building, operating, and continuously improving a secure, reliable, and automated cloud data platform with Microsoft Azure and Databricks as mandatory technologies. The position blends DevOps and platform administration, focusing on infrastructure automation, containerized runtime operations, identity/access governance, and observability. Success is defined by stable platform operations, repeatable deployments, strong security controls, and fast incident detection and resolution across the Azure and Databricks ecosystem. This is a long term contract, sitting 4x days onsite in St. Louis, MO. **Technical Skills:** * 4\+ years experience in DevOps and platform administration in Azure cloud environments. * Hands\-on expertise with Kubernetes, Terraform, Helm, Docker, and CI/CD tooling (Azure DevOps and/or GitHub Actions). * Strong understanding of cloud\-native architectures and container orchestration concepts and operations. * Experience with Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Airflow, Azure Data Lake, and related data engineering/platform tools. * Airflow – Experience in building, scheduling, and maintaining DAGs, handling dependencies, retries, and production support. * Proficiency implementing and managing RBAC/IAM in Azure and cloud environments. * Solid experience with Active Directory and AD group management for access control. * Exposure with IoT * Kafka –setting up, configuring, and managing Kafka clusters; creating topics; managing producers/consumers; handling scaling, monitoring, and troubleshooting. * Dynatrace – Experience in implementing application and infrastructure monitoring; setting up dashboards, alerts, performance tracking, and troubleshooting production issues. * Experience with Azure Key Vault for secrets management and key handling. * Strong scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, Bash, or similar. **NICE TO HAVE:** * Experience standardizing multi\-environment (dev/test/prod) release governance and approval workflows. * Experience implementing policy\-as\-code and compliance guardrails (where applicable). * Prior ownership of operational metrics such as deployment frequency, change failure rate, and mean time to recovery (MTTR).
