DevOps Engineer

**Job Title: DevOps Engineer – Toronto (Hybrid, 4 Days Onsite)** **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled **DevOps Engineer** to design, implement, and maintain **scalable CI/CD pipelines** . The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience in automation, containerization, Kubernetes platforms, and DevSecOps practices. The role also involves integrating security tools and enabling AI\-powered automation or AI agents to enhance operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, implement, and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using GitHub Actions to automate build, test, and deployment processes. * Build, deploy, and manage **containerized applications** using Docker. * Deploy and manage applications on **Ansible and OpenShift (OCP) clusters** . * Provide **troubleshooting and support** for build, deployment, and application issues. * Integrate **DevSecOps practices** by incorporating SAST, DAST, and container image scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines. * Collaborate with **development, security, and operations teams** to improve deployment efficiency and reliability. * Enable and integrate **AI agents or AI\-powered automation tools** to optimize operational workflows and incident analysis. * Maintain clear **technical documentation** and contribute to process improvements. * Analyze existing systems, define technical requirements, and document solutions. * Participate in **code reviews, mentorship of junior developers** , and knowledge sharing. **Must\-Have Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in **Computer Science, Engineering, or related field** . * Hands\-on experience with **GitHub, Jenkins, IBM UCD, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, Ansible, Vault** . * Experience with **OCP, VM, Azure, and container technologies** . * Knowledge of **build and unit test tools** such as Maven, MS\-Build, Gradle, npm, JUnit, NUnit, Mocha. * Strong scripting skills in **Groovy, YAML, Python, Unix Shell, PowerShell** . * Familiarity with **E2E development processes, Agile, Waterfall, IWFA** . * Experience in **process optimization and automation** . **Good\-to\-Have Qualifications:** * Knowledge of **Client’s Helios tool** is an advantage. * Positive attitude, fast learner, and ability to drive change. * Strong **multi\-tasking skills** , capable of working independently with minimal support. * Good **communication and stakeholder interaction** skills in Offshore/Onshore models.
