Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Description **Job Title: DevOps Architect (AWS \+ Azure)****Level: Associate Director/Director** **Location: Toronto, ON – Onsite/Hybrid** **Job Type: Long\-Term Contract** **Domain: Banking / Financial Services** **Job Summary** We are seeking an experienced **DevOps Architect (Level: Associate Director/Director)** with strong expertise in **AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms** to design, implement, and manage scalable DevOps solutions for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will play a key role in building robust CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure automation, and DevOps strategies in a **highly regulated Banking/Financial Services environment**. **Key Responsibilities** Design and implement **enterprise DevOps architecture** across **AWS and Azure cloud environments**. Develop and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** using tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar. Architect **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** solutions using **Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM/Bicep templates**. Implement **containerization and orchestration** using **Docker and Kubernetes (AKS/EKS)**. Establish **DevOps best practices**, governance, and automation frameworks. Collaborate with **development, security, and infrastructure teams** to optimize software delivery. Implement **monitoring, logging, and observability solutions** using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, or CloudWatch. Design **secure DevOps pipelines** aligned with enterprise security standards and compliance requirements. Support **cloud migration and modernization initiatives**. Provide **technical leadership and mentoring** to DevOps engineers and platform teams. **Required Skills \& Qualifications****15\-20\+ years of IT experience** with **5\-8\+ years in DevOps / Cloud Architecture roles**. Experience in **Banking or Financial Services domain**. Strong hands\-on expertise with **AWS and Microsoft Azure cloud platforms**. Deep experience with **CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps automation**. Strong experience with **Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM templates, or Bicep**. Experience with **Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS)**. Strong scripting skills (**Python, Bash, PowerShell**). Experience with **Git, GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket**. Knowledge of **security, compliance, and DevSecOps practices**. Experience implementing **monitoring and logging frameworks**.
