Job Description
**Responsibilities** * Project Planning and Execution: Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of civil works ensuring timely completion within budget and to quality standards. Develop comprehensive project plans including resource allocation, timelines, and risk assessments. * Technical Supervision: Provide technical guidance and supervision to site engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure adherence to design specifications, engineering standards, and safety norms. * Quality Assurance and Control: Establish and implement rigorous quality control procedures for all civil construction activities. Conduct periodic inspections and audits to ensure compliance with contractual specifications and regulatory requirements. * Safety Management: Champion safety culture at the site by ensuring implementation of safety protocols and adherence to statutory safety guidelines. Conduct safety meetings and training sessions regularly to mitigate risks and promote a safe working environment. * Cost Control and Vendor Management: Monitor project expenditures against budgets and proactively identify cost\-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Liaise with vendors and contractors to negotiate contracts, manage performance, and resolve technical issues. * Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate project documentation including progress reports, inspection records, and compliance certificates. Prepare and present regular status updates to senior management. * Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between civil engineering teams, project management, and external stakeholders such as regulatory authorities and local communities to facilitate seamless project progress. * Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process enhancement in civil engineering practices. Drive implementation of innovative construction techniques and sustainable solutions aligned with Adani’s commitment to environmental responsibility. * Team Leadership and Development: Mentor junior engineers and team members, fostering a collaborative and high\-performance culture. Encourage knowledge sharing and professional growth within the team. * Compliance and Regulatory Adherence: Ensure all civil engineering activities comply with local laws, environmental regulations, and industry best practices. **Qualifications** Educational Qualification * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. * Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field is desirable. Certification Required * Professional Engineer (PE) Certification or equivalent is preferred. * Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent) is an advantage. * Safety certification such as NEBOSH or IOSH will be beneficial.
