Dental Nurse/Receptionist

We have a vacancy for an additional Dental Nurse/Receptionist/administration assistant. The position is for Reception and admin duties primarily, but Dental Nursing experience is essential, as you will be expected to cover staff holidays and abscences. Normal working hours are: 0830 \- 1730 hrs Mon \- Fri with 1 hour for lunch between 1300 \- 1400 hrs. We are a well established NHS and Private, friendly family run practice in Upminster. We are situated close to Upminster rail station and Upminster high street. We are a fully computerised practice. Duties to include: Provide reception services, both client facing and on the telephone. Arranging appointments, Ensuring patients details \& Medical histories are up to date, Organise lab work. Provide high standard of clinical support to clinicians, Organising stock of surgeries, Decontamination of instruments, Ensuring equipment organised for day of patients, Daily, weekly and monthly testing of equipment, Charting, Developing of digital x\-rays. NHS and private referrals and assisting with Practice policy management. We also require you to: Maintain professional indemnity and registration with the GDC (GDC registration will be paid for by the practice, after a probationary pariod \-pro rata), Undertake CPD in line with the GDC guidelines, Be vaccinated against Hepatitis B. Salary will be dependant on Qualifications and experience, 4 weeks paid holiday as well as all bank holidays.
