Search Jobs by Keyword \| Search Jobs by Location \| Back to Middle East Share this Job Choose how often (in days) you want to receive a notification: **Closing Date** Number of positions: 1 Recruiter name: Ruba Hijah Reference number: 68963 Mediclinic Parkview Hospital \| Dubai \| United Arab Emirates **MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB** Supports dental care delivery by performing procedures in compliance with the dental practice act and per scope of practice **KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS** * Assist the Dentist in the delivery of quality dental services according to set clinical standards and relevant legislation * Ensure patient safety by identifying, preventing and managing risks in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation * Facilitate positive patient experiences by creating a conducive environment as guided by Hospital leadership * Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all dental interventions according to company standard and legal requirements * Utilise all required stock and equipment efficiently, according to Mediclinic guidelines **Required Education** Essential: Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or Diploma in Dental Assistant or Dental Nursing or Registered Nurse or Assistant Nurse meeting licensure criteria **Required Experience** Essential: At least two years’ experience as a qualified Dental Assistant Desired: Experience as a Dental Assistant in the UAE **Required Job Skills And Knowledge** * Basic Arabic language skills * Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards * Computer literacy and proficiency in MS Office applications * Verbal and written communication skills in English All applicants will be considered, with the understanding that preference will be given to the designated groups in accordance with the United Arab Emirates Emiratization Program.
