This is a **delivery‑focused contract role** where you’ll apply **advanced data science, Generative AI, and Python** to complex operational, R\&D, and commercial challenges. You’ll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to shape and deliver high‑impact analytics and AI use cases. 🔧 What You’ll Be Doing * Deliver advanced **data science and AI solutions** to complex business problems * Apply **Generative AI and advanced analytics** to operational, engineering, and financial data * Lead technical delivery across data science initiatives and AI use cases * Scope and shape new analytics and AI work with senior stakeholders * Design, analyse, and interpret **experiments for R\&D and product development** * Collaborate with global data scientists, AI engineers, and digital teams * Promote best practice around **data quality, model limitations, and AI ethics** * Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring within project teams ✅ What We’re Looking For **Essential (Contract‑Critical)** * Strong, proven **Data Science** background * Hands‑on experience with **Generative AI** * Advanced **Python** skills (production‑level data science) **Background** * Master’s or PhD in **Data Science, AI, Statistics** , or a STEM discipline * **OR** * STEM background with **2\+ years’ commercial experience** delivering data science / AI solutions **Highly Desirable** * Previous **consulting or contract delivery** experience * Strong understanding of **data quality, bias, and model limitations** * Ability to communicate complex technical ideas to non‑technical stakeholders * Confident working independently while collaborating in multi‑disciplinary teams 👤 Ideal Contractor Profile You’re a **self‑starting, delivery‑focused contractor** who enjoys tackling ambiguous, high‑impact problems.
