Job Description: **Job Description** ------------------- **Role Purpose** **The purpose of this role is to design and develop the user interface of a product/ application as per the customer’s/ business requirement** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- **͏** ----- **Do** ------ * ### **Design and Development of UI for a Product/Application** + ### **Collaborate with Business Analyst \& Product Manager for a better understanding of functional requirements, analysis, design document** + Understand the requirements from UX Designer and use agile methodology to create static designs and interactive prototypes + Implement features and create presentation layer in accordance with business requirements and UX specifications + Develop working prototypes from UI designs for cross\-platform devices and ensure cross\-browser compatibility + Develop and maintain new and existing product's screens by utilizing different technologies in creating component based responsive design + Ensure heavy use of Chrome Developer Tools \+ Firebug to ensure front\-end code and assets were optimized and of high\-quality + Ensure usage of color and font represent integrated brand perception and user experience + Collaborate with other user experience designers, UI software engineers and graphic designers to ensure a consistent and integrated user experience + Actively participate in design and code review to ensure that overall application is robust, bug\-free and easy to maintain **͏** ----- * ### **Competency Building** + Integrate best practices through competency development, multiskilling and by doing mandatory training compliance + Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members. + Enable team member's knowledge sharing across teams and best practices **͏** ----- ### **Deliver** **No** **Performance Parameter** **Measure** 1 Create design and development of UI Accuracy of code (100% error free code), throughput %, Adherence to the schedule/ release plan, re\-usability of the code 2 Capability Development Strengthening technical skills, % trained on new age skills **͏** ----- Mandatory Skills: Customer Service .
