Job Description
Our customer, located in Mississauga, ON, is seeking a Customer Service Representative to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for providing exceptional customer support, processing quotes, entering orders, and processing returns.
**Responsibilities**
* Provide quality customer service, maintain high customer satisfaction, and respond to all inquiries received via phone, fax, mail, and email. Redirect inquiries to the appropriate department when necessary.
* Work with other departments to resolve order\-related issues, facilitate solutions, and improve customer support. This includes determining product availability and pricing, advising on backorder situations, arranging shipment of tools and parts, and following up on orders.
* Coordinate with Accounting to update customer records in the Infor system. Maintain email contact information in Syteline for invoicing. Process quotes created by technicians in the Syteline system.
* Maintain key accounts, provide estimates, process orders, and keep customers informed of delivery times. Request expedited shipping when required. Analyze customer orders to propose solutions for improving internal stock levels and lead times.
* Process returns for both technician and customer orders.
* Resolve questions or discrepancies related to customer requests, referring to the supervisor when needed.
* Perform other related duties to meet the ongoing needs of the organization as assigned by your supervisor.
**Qualifications**
* 1\-2 years’ experience as a Customer Service Representative
* Understanding of customer service principles and processes
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Experience with internet and online search tools
* Knowledge of order entry systems and related functionality for service parts
* High school diploma
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (French is an asset)
* Ability to multitask in high\-volume and stressful situations
* Strong telephone etiquette
* Good planning and organizational skills, and ability to prioritize
* Strong administrative and computer skills
**Perks:**
