🧾 Customer Service Representative (CSR) – Job Description 📌 Role Overview A **Customer Service Representative** is responsible for interacting with customers to handle inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide information about products or services. The goal is to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain a positive company image. 🛠️ Key Responsibilities * Respond to customer queries via phone, email, chat, or in person * Resolve product or service issues efficiently * Provide accurate information about products, services, and policies * Handle complaints and escalate complex issues when needed * Maintain customer records and update databases * Follow up with customers to ensure issue resolution * Meet performance targets (response time, customer satisfaction, etc.) 🎯 Required Skills * Strong communication and interpersonal skills * Problem\-solving ability and patience * Active listening skills * Basic computer knowledge (CRM tools, email, MS Office) * Ability to handle stressful situations calmly * Time management and multitasking 🎓 Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree is a plus) * Previous customer service experience preferred but not always required
