The candidate will support the internal legal team in reviewing Title Search Reports and legal opinions, advising business teams on title\-related risks, and ensuring compliance with documentation and stamping requirements in all property\-backed transactions. ****Key Responsibilities**** Title Verification and Due Diligence: Review and analyses Title Search Reports, legal opinions, and revenue records; examine chain of title, encumbrances, municipal and tax records, mortgages, litigations, and compliance with land laws; identify defects in title and advise corrective steps; evaluate nature of land (freehold, leasehold, government land, agricultural or industrial land); provide written legal opinions; highlight legal risks; review mortgage documents; advise on stamping, registration, and jurisdiction\-specific requirements. ****Key Skills And Competencies**** Strong understanding of property law, land laws, stamp and registration laws; proficiency in reviewing and interpreting title documents and revenue records; ability to identify title defects and propose corrective measures; sound judgment, attention to detail, and effective communication of legal issues to non\-legal stakeholders. ****Preferred Background**** Prior experience in a bank, NBFC, law firm, or real estate\-focused practice with exposure to property title verification.
