Construction Project Engineer

**Job Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and detail\-oriented Construction Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful execution of construction projects from inception to completion. In this role, you will coordinate various facets of construction management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in project scheduling, blueprint reading, and construction management software will be instrumental in maintaining seamless operations across multiple sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful infrastructure developments while honing your skills in project coordination and construction estimation. **Responsibilities** * Develop, update, and monitor project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely project delivery. * Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate project execution. * Assist in preparing detailed construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid and other estimating tools to support budgeting and resource allocation. * Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and contractual obligations. * Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment using Construction management software, tracking deliveries and inventory levels. * Review contracts, change orders, and scope documents to manage project scope changes effectively. * Conduct site inspections, document progress through Bluebeam or similar digital tools, and report on project milestones. * Support project managers with documentation such as daily reports, incident reports, and progress logs to maintain comprehensive records. * Facilitate communication among team members to resolve issues promptly and keep projects aligned with schedule goals. * Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, codes, and safety standards throughout the construction process. **Experience** * Proven experience in construction site management or as a Civil Engineer with hands\-on site experience in heavy civil or infrastructure projects. * Strong proficiency with Primavera P6 for project scheduling; familiarity with Schematics and Civil 3D is highly desirable. * Demonstrated ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, contracts, and technical drawings accurately. * Experience using construction estimating software such as HeavyBid or similar tools for cost analysis and budgeting. * Knowledge of construction management software platforms including ProCore, Bluebeam, or equivalent digital collaboration tools. * Familiarity with contract administration processes and change order management. * Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively across multiple projects. * Strong communication skills for coordinating teams, managing client expectations, and liaising with subcontractors.
