Commercial Lawyer

**Commercial Counsel, Global (Contract)** **Location:** Remote (United States) **Hours:** 30 hours per week **Duration:** 5 months (April 1, 2026 – September 11, 2026\) **Compensation:** $72–$80/hour **Overview** A global consumer products company is seeking a Commercial Counsel to support the management, drafting, negotiation, and finalization of a broad range of complex commercial agreements. This is a fully remote contract engagement running approximately five months, with a preference for candidates located in the Eastern or Central time zones. The attorney will advise business stakeholders domestically and internationally and collaborate cross\-functionally across the organization. **Key Responsibilities** * Manage, draft, negotiate, and finalize complex commercial agreements, including: * Supply agreements * Distributor agreements * IT agreements * Media and marketing agreements * License agreements * Statements of Work (SOWs) * Master Services Agreements (MSAs) * Ensure contract work aligns with company policies and risk tolerance guidelines * Provide practical, business\-oriented advice to internal stakeholders in the U.S. and globally * Partner cross\-functionally with internal teams on a variety of commercial and contractual matters * Operate with agility in a fast\-paced environment and maintain strong responsiveness to senior leadership **Qualifications** * Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited law school * 3–5 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts * Strong written, verbal, listening, and organizational skills * Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast\-paced environment * Practical understanding of international public companies and related entities as they relate to commercial agreements * Spanish language skills are helpful but not required **NOTE: Highly qualified non\-JD contract managers may apply.**
