Role: Cloud Operations Engineer Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE Job Type: Contract Work Mode: Onsite Job Description We are looking for a Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stable and efficient operation of cloud environments by supporting production workloads, monitoring systems, and managing incidents. The candidate will work closely with application and infrastructure teams to maintain reliability, resolve operational issues, and continuously improve cloud operations through automation and best practices. Key Responsibilities Monitor and operate cloud infrastructure and production environments. Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and problem resolution. Ensure backup and recovery processes are properly maintained. Perform capacity planning, performance monitoring, and cost optimization. Automate routine operational tasks to improve efficiency and consistency. Support application teams running distributed cloud workloads. Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and reports. Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to improve system stability and performance. Requirements Experience in cloud operations, infrastructure support, or production support roles. Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills. Familiarity with cloud monitoring and alerting tools. Experience supporting cloud\-based platforms and services. Ability to work effectively during production incidents and high\-pressure situations. Good communication and teamwork skills.
