The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable backend systems, managing cloud infrastructure, and ensuring the security and performance of our platform. This role plays a key part in optimizing system architecture, handling database operations, and supporting high\-performance applications. **Key Responsibilities:** * Develop and maintain **secure and scalable REST APIs** using **Node.js and Express.js**. * Design, manage, and optimize **PostgreSQL databases** for high performance and reliability. * Implement **PostGIS (Geospatial extension)** for advanced map features such as radius searches and location\-based clustering. * Deploy, manage, and monitor cloud infrastructure on **AWS (EC2, RDS, S3\)**. * Optimize image processing workflows by implementing middleware (e.g., **Sharp**) to compress high\-resolution images before uploading to cloud storage. * Implement secure authentication systems including **JWT authentication and OAuth (Google Login)**. * Ensure system security by configuring and maintaining **Web Application Firewalls (WAF)** and other best security practices. * Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the platform remains fast, secure, and scalable. * Collaborate with frontend developers and product teams to deliver reliable and high\-performing solutions. **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * **2\+ years of professional experience** in backend development and cloud infrastructure. * Strong expertise in **Node.js and Express.js**. * Advanced knowledge of **PostgreSQL database management**. * Experience working with **PostGIS for geospatial data handling**. * Hands\-on experience with **AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3\)**. * Experience implementing **authentication systems (JWT, OAuth)**. * Knowledge of **API security, system optimization, and scalable architecture**. * Familiarity with **image processing and media optimization** tools (e.g., Sharp) is a plus. * Strong problem\-solving skills and ability to work in a fast\-paced environment. **Preferred Skills (Plus Points):** * Experience with **cloud security best practices** and WAF configuration. * Understanding of **microservices architecture**. * Familiarity with **CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices**. **Salary:** Competitive (Based on experience)**Working Days:** Monday to Friday **How to Apply:**Interested candidates can send their CV at **Bilal.kashif@globalsead.com****Or Whatsapp Us On : \+92 318 4593001** with the subject line **“Application for Cloud Engineer”**.
