Civil Engineer - Transportation

**Responsibilities** * Lead plan production efforts for transportation projects for local municipalities and ODOT using AutoCAD Civil 3D. * Interact with our clients; local municipalities, ODOT, contractors, and other consulting companies. * Develop project budgets/schedules. * Develop technical proposals. * Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding. * Work closely with other technical staff within Choice One Engineering and with peers in the industry to provide transportation design and consulting engineering services, primarily for local municipalities and ODOT. **Knowledge, Skills \& Abilities** * B.S. in Civil Engineering * P.E. license or in the process of obtaining P.E. license * 5\-15 years experience in transportation design (e.g. roadways, public utilities, traffic, etc.) * Very responsive and a strong sense of urgency and self\-initiative to meet deadlines * Continuous learning mindset * Working proficiency of AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred Why work for Choice One Engineering? * We are a nationwide Best Firm to Work For! * We offer company ownership opportunities after 3 years. * Financial Transparency and Quarterly Bonuses. * Civil Engineering firm in Loveland/Cincinnati Area * Employer paid health insurance for employees and up to 5\.5% 401k match. * We invest in the growth of our employees and encourage them to drive their own careers. * Enjoyment: we enjoy our jobs, the relationships we create, and the work we do.
