**Civil Engineer Onshore** for a major Offshore Wind Project based in **The Uk** **Responsibilities** * Preparation of technical documents / papers for internal review * Preparation of employer's requirements and technical specifications * Management of contractors and subconsultants to ensure that their output meets HSSE, quality, and technical requirements in an adequate, economic and efficient manner. * Oversight of the complete Substation civil/structural design, as developed by consultants and contractors, including all interfaces with other disciplines, from planning drawings through FEED to the completion of detailed design. * Ensuring that the design and the as\-built substation meet all consent and regulatory requirements * Support to the project during the Detailed Design and Construction phase. * Input into the definition and execution of onshore ground investigations, site surveys and walkovers * Oversight of the logistics plans and onshore transportation routes for all onshore substation related activities * Giving technical input to other project functions in your area of knowledge/expertise. * Participation in project team meetings and cross\-disciplinary co\-operation. * Participating in the procurement activities associated with onshore civil works in the project. * Define, identify and manage key interfaces between the different work packages ensuring those are captured in technical requirements and more broader contract documentation. **Requirements** * Be degree educated in engineering or a related field with approximately 10 years experience * Be chartered or working towards chartered status * Have a successful track record in the delivery of onshore civil works for the power industry
