Morris \& Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) is currently seeking a Civil Designer with 0 to 5 years of experience for our Land group in Laurel, Maryland. Established 45 years ago, Morris \& Ritchie Associates, Inc.'s (MRA's) architects, structural and civil/site engineers, land planners, landscape architects, and surveyors provide planning, design, and construction administration phase services for a wide range of projects throughout the mid\-Atlantic and Carolinas. MRA's projects include: office buildings, commercial and retail centers, business and industrial parks, residential communities, institutional facilities, and recreational facilities, as well as infrastructure design and improvement projects. **Civil Engineer \- RESPONSIBILITIES** - Design of land development projects in the Prince George's, Anne Arundel , Montgomery and Howard Counties of Maryland. - Utilize AutoCAD and Civil 3D to develop design concepts and plans in the following areas: * site layout, water, sewer mains, roads, soil erosion and sedimentation control plans, floodplain studies and grading plans * Provide assistance to other team members and management in order to accomplish department goals and objectives **Civil Engineer \- REQUIREMENTS** * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required. E.I.T. preferred * Experience in Private Land Development preferred but not required * AutoCAD \& Civil 3D proficiency required * Ability to work independently as well as in a group * Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook * Excellent Verbal and Written Communication * Local candidates preferred.
