Civil Engineer

A strong planning and engineering department enables KITCO to offer consultancy service under one roof from concept to commissioning. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead the planning, design review, and execution of civil engineering projects. * Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and feasibility. * Conduct detailed feasibility studies, site assessments, and technical evaluations. * Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, environmental regulations, and statutory requirements. * Oversee construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. * Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and government authorities. * Establish and monitor quality control systems to ensure adherence to project specifications. * Lead, mentor, and manage junior engineers and site teams, ensuring effective task allocation and performance. * Conduct regular project review meetings and provide progress updates to senior management and stakeholders. * Ensure strict adherence to safety standards, conduct risk assessments, and implement mitigation measures. * Liaise with government agencies and statutory bodies to obtain necessary approvals and clearances. * Prepare and review project estimates, budgets, and cost plans; monitor expenditures and optimize resource utilization. * Approve materials, vendors, and oversee procurement processes in line with project requirements. * Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, drawings, and records. * Prepare and present technical reports, progress reports, and project updates to stakeholders. * Identify, analyze, and resolve technical challenges during project execution. * Drive innovation and implement best practices to enhance project efficiency, quality, and sustainability. **Requirements** * Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering. * 8–12 years of relevant experience in civil engineering projects, preferably in infrastructure, PWD/CPWD, or airport projects. * Strong experience in project management, construction supervision, and stakeholder coordination. * Good knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulatory frameworks. * Proven leadership and team management skills. * PMP or equivalent project management certification is an added advantage.
