Job Description
**About the Role:**
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer (EIT) to join a growing consulting engineering team focused on municipal and private site development projects. This is a great opportunity for an early\-career engineer looking to gain hands\-on experience in design, project coordination, and exposure to a variety of infrastructure projects in a collaborative and flexible environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Support civil engineering assignments including design, analysis, and plan production under the guidance of a Project Manager.
* Assist in preparing construction documents, specifications, drainage studies, and due diligence reports.
* Contribute to multiple phases of municipal and private site development projects, including water distribution, wastewater collection and treatment, drainage, and roadway improvements.
* Perform design calculations and assist in developing engineering solutions using standard methodologies.
* Work closely with senior engineers and designers to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.
* Assist with permitting efforts, including preparing submittals and addressing agency comments.
* Communicate effectively with internal team members and support coordination with clients and stakeholders.
**Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
* Engineer\-in\-Training (EIT) certification required.
* 0–3 years of relevant experience in civil engineering.
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Bluebeam.
* Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn in a team\-oriented environment.
