Civil Engineer

Our client, a leading land development consulting firm, is currently seeking a **Civil Engineer** **\- Stormwater** to join their team immediately on a permanent full\-time basis. You will be joining a team committed to shaping and reshaping communities and landscapes responsibly. This position will be working out of their office in Markham, Ontario. **Compensation:** * Salary range of $100k\-110k/Year * Performance Bonus * Vacation: 3 Weeks * Company Benefits * Wellness Benefit **In office / Hybrid / Remote:** * Hybrid **Role and Responsibilities** * Prepare master and functional servicing studies to support secondary plans, draft plans, and site plans. * Perform analysis and modeling for stormwater management systems, low impact development (LID), creek crossings, and floodplain mapping for land development projects. * Prepare technical reports and design briefs and coordinate approvals with regulatory agencies. * Liaise with clients, conservation authorities, and municipal, regional, provincial, and federal agencies throughout draft plan and detailed design stages. * Manage project schedules and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. * Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members. **Qualifications:** * Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) or Civil Engineering Technologist in Ontario, or eligible for registration. * Minimum 5 years of experience in servicing and stormwater management related to land development. * Strong understanding of GTA agency requirements and approval processes. * Experience using stormwater modeling software such as Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, and HEC\-RAS. * Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead project teams, and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders. * Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in the preparation of servicing and stormwater management studies and designs.
