Civil Engineer / Civil Inspector – Snagging & Inspection

**Key Responsibilities** * Conduct pre\-handover inspections of residential units (Studio, 1BR, 2BR, etc.) * Identify visible defects in civil and finishing works * Inspect and report on: * Tiling works (alignment, lippage, grout condition) * Plaster and paint finishes * Ceilings (gypsum and suspended systems) * Waterproofing in wet areas and balconies * Doors, joinery, and basic fittings * Check general workmanship, levels, and finishing quality * Record defects (snags) with clear descriptions and photos * Assist in preparing snagging reports and tracking issues * Support re\-inspections to verify completion of rectification works * Coordinate with site teams and contractors for closure of snags * Follow basic QA/QC procedures and company reporting standards **Qualifications \& Requirements** * **Diploma in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)** * **Minimum 4 years UAE experience** in construction, inspection, or snagging * Basic understanding of residential construction and finishing works * Familiarity with UAE site practices * Ability to use mobile inspection/reporting tools * Good English communication skills * Attention to detail and practical site experience * UAE driving license is an advantage **Working Conditions** * Site\-based role across multiple locations in Dubai * Working hours as per UAE Labour Law and company policy * Compliance with HSE requirements is mandatory **Work Timings:** 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM \| Monday to Saturday 💰 **Salary Range** **AED 5,000 – 7,000**
