**About The Role**
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Charter Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily transit operations.
The Charter Specialist must have a strong understanding of administrative processes and demonstrate the ability to work across multiple computer platforms, including internal reporting tools, and scheduling software.
This position is well\-suited for a highly organized, adaptable individual who thrives in a fast\-paced operational setting and enjoys balancing customer service with operational problem\-solving.
**Shift Schedule:**
* Monday to Friday
**Hourly Rate: $20\.00 \- $21\.00**

**Primary Responsibilities**
* Provide ongoing customer service and operational support to drivers, acting as a central point of communication to resolve service\-related issues efficiently
* Coordinate charter bookings and respond to customer inquiries by preparing accurate quotes, scheduling vehicles and drivers, confirming service details and invoicing
* Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Manager to support the smooth operation of daily transportation services
**Requirements**
The ideal candidate will posses the following qualifications that include, but are not limited to, the following:
* High school diploma or equivalent — post\-secondary education is considered an asset
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other standard software tools used for reporting, scheduling, and communication
* Clear and current criminal record check
* Demonstrated excellence in customer service, with the ability to remain calm, courteous, and solution\-focused in high\-pressure or time\-sensitive situations
* Professional and courteous telephone manner, with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to relay information clearly and accurately
* Well\-developed organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks, ability to work on your own, manage time effectively, and handle multiple responsibilities with attention to detail
* Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team and interact professionally with clients, staff, and external partners
