**Position Overview**
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager specializing in Motor Insurance and/or Medical Insurance to join our growing team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the UAE market, bringing in a portfolio of existing clients and driving business growth through revenue generation.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Portfolio Management: Leverage your existing portfolio of Motor and/or Medical Insurance clients to achieve revenue targets.
* Client Acquisition: Identify and secure new business opportunities within the UAE market, focusing on Motor and Medical Insurance solutions.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring retention and satisfaction while exploring opportunities to upsell and cross\-sell.
* Revenue Generation: Consistently meet or exceed revenue goals through proactive client management and sales strategies.
* Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market opportunities to maintain a competitive edge.
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
* Reporting: Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to management.
**Qualifications**
* Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Motor Insurance / Medical Insurance/ General Insurance within the UAE.
* Portfolio: Must bring a portfolio of active clients in the UAE market.
* Knowledge: Strong understanding of UAE insurance regulations and products, particularly in the Motor and Medical Insurance sectors.
**Skills**
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strong sales and client management abilities.
* Proficient in using CRM tools and sales management software.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
* Languages: Proficiency in English; additional languages (Arabic, Hindi, or Urdu) are a plus.
