We are seeking a **Junior/Intermediate Building Enclosure Associate** to join our team. As an Associate, you will work on building enclosure projects under the guidance of a Project Manager or Principal, contributing to investigations, testing, design, construction administration, and site observations. You will take on project tasks with increasing independence while collaborating closely with senior staff and the broader project team. This role involves a mix of design, fieldwork, and technical analysis, including supporting client deliverables, mock\-up construction, field and laboratory testing, and on\-site construction reviews. You will be expected to develop a strong understanding of building systems and construction practices, and effectively communicate findings and recommendations to clients. We want someone who enjoys solving real\-world construction challenges, thinks creatively, and is motivated to stay at the forefront of building science and technology. **Key Responsibilities:** * Building enclosure design and detailing (walls, roofs, windows, waterproofing) * Design reviews and technical analysis of drawings and specifications * Construction administration and on\-site reviews * Field investigations and performance testing * Drafting and modeling (AutoCAD / Revit) * Thermal modeling and thermal bridging analysis (e.g., THERM) * Hygrothermal modeling (e.g., WUFI) * Assisting with mock\-ups, laboratory testing, and field testing programs * Preparing reports, sketches, and client deliverables **Qualifications / Experience** **Education:** * Degree in Architectural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or similar **Experience:** * 0–5 years of relevant experience (consulting, construction, or architecture) **Technical Skills (preferred but not required):** * AutoCAD / Revit * THERM, WUFI, or similar modeling tools * Understanding of building envelope systems and construction methods **Core Competencies:** * Strong attention to detail and problem\-solving mindset * Interest in construction and building science * Ability to work both independently and in a team * Clear written and verbal communication skills * Comfortable working on\-site (including heights and field conditions) * Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites **Compensation** * $70,000 \- $90,000 (commensurate with experience) * Semi\-annual bonus / profit sharing * Flexible hybrid work environment, with remote work typically available up to 1–2 days per week, subject to training requirements, project demands, and site work. * Extended Health, Vision, and Dental Insurance. * Future employee ownership.
