Position Overview
We are seeking a detail\-oriented and reliable Part\-Time Accountant / Bookkeeper to support our financial operations. This role works approximately 10–12 hours per week and collaborates closely with ownership and our administrative team.
While much of the transactional processing (AR, AP, payroll) is handled by our Administrative Clerk, this position oversees, reviews, and ensures accuracy across all accounting activities.

Schedule: 10–12 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Flexible schedule with preferred onsite presence one or two days per week
Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience
Key Responsibilities
· Oversee and review accounts receivable and accounts payable
· Review and support payroll processing
· Prepare monthly financial statements
· Perform bank and general ledger reconciliations
· Prepare and file HST returns
· Monitor cash flow and provide financial insights to ownership
· Maintain accurate and organized financial records
· Assist with year\-end preparation and liaise with external accountants
· Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and regulations
· Filing standard government remittances and payments
· Some report preparation as required and directed by ownership
Qualifications
· Minimum of 3\+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
· Accounting designation is an asset, but not necessary
· Experience in manufacturing or small\-to\-mid\-sized businesses considered an asset
· Proficiency with Sage and/or NetSuite accounting software considered an asset
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
· Ability to work independently in a part\-time capacity
