Bar and Terrace Supervisor

We are currently recruiting for an exciting position of Bar and Terrace Supervisor here at the Bedford Swan Hotel. This is a 42\.5 contract hours per week with key days being Wednesday \- Sunday during the summer months when our Terrace is open. Set on the banks of the River Ouse the hotel is a hot spot for locals to come and relax and we are building a team that can comfortably create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. The hotel has a number of bar areas. This includes the Pen \& Cob Restaurant Bar, Terrace area and events bars. Often incredibly busy, the role requires someone who is confident in building rapport with people and can oversee a fast\-paced operation to support the Bar \& Terrace Manager to ensure all of our guests receive a brilliant experience. It is a necessity that you can focus and stay calm in a pressurised environment but still be passionate about great food, drink and customer service. An organised and fair approach to supervising and training is needed along with attention to detail to keep standards consistent. The Bar and Terrace Supervisor position will need to be filled by someone who loves a customer facing position. Experience in a similar high paced multi bar environment is essential to this role.
