Job Type: Contract Job Category: IT Job Description **Job Title: AWS Infrastructure Engineer (CDK \& TypeScript)****Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)** **Job Type: 6\-12 Months Contract \[Possible Extension]**### **Job Overview** We are seeking an experienced **AWS Infrastructure Engineer with strong expertise in AWS CDK and TypeScript** to design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands\-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud automation, and implementing secure and highly available AWS environments.### **Key Responsibilities** Design and implement **AWS cloud infrastructure using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) with TypeScript**. Build reusable **infrastructure components and automation frameworks**. Develop and maintain **Infrastructure as Code (IaC)** to support cloud deployments. Implement **CI/CD pipelines** for automated infrastructure provisioning and application deployments. Configure and manage AWS services such as **EC2, Lambda, S3, API Gateway, VPC, RDS, DynamoDB, and CloudWatch**. Ensure **high availability, scalability, and security** of cloud infrastructure. Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to **optimize cloud architecture and performance**. Implement **monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions** for AWS environments. Follow **best practices for security, compliance, and cost optimization**. ### **Required Skills \& Qualifications** **5–8\+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure or DevOps engineering**. Strong hands\-on experience with **AWS CDK using TypeScript**. Deep knowledge of **AWS services, networking, and security best practices**. Experience with **CI/CD tools** such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline. Experience with **containerization technologies** like Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred). Knowledge of **monitoring and logging tools** such as CloudWatch and Prometheus. Experience with **Git\-based workflows and version control systems**. ### **Preferred Qualifications** **AWS Certified Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer certification**. Experience with **Terraform or CloudFormation** in addition to CDK. Experience working in **Agile/Scrum environments**. Experience with **microservices and serverless architectures**.
