We specialise in cloud transformation, DevOps enablement, and secure\-by\-design engineering, supporting high\-profile programmes that make a real impact. We are currently seeking an experienced **AWS DevOps Engineer** to join our growing team on a 12\-month fixed\-term contract. This is a fully remote UK\-based role, working on mission\-critical Central Government projects. **Essential Requirements** * **Active SC Clearance (mandatory)** * Proven experience delivering on **UK Central Government programmes** * Strong hands\-on AWS DevOps engineering experience * Expertise in: * **AWS cloud services** (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc.) * **Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred)** * **Containerisation (Docker)** * **Kubernetes (EKS preferred)** * Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins) * Strong understanding of DevSecOps principles and secure cloud architecture * Experience working in Agile, multi\-disciplinary teams * Ability to take ownership of technical solutions and contribute to engineering best practice **Key Responsibilities** * Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable AWS cloud infrastructure * Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform * Deploy and manage containerised applications using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS) * Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines * Ensure compliance with Government security standards and best practices * Collaborate with architects, developers, and security teams * Contribute to technical decision\-making and continuous improvement **Desirable Skills** * Experience working to Government Digital Service (GDS) standards * Knowledge of logging/monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) * Experience with cost optimisation in AWS environments * AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) **Important Information** * We are unable to consider candidates who require sponsorship or hold a visa of any type * **BPSS clearance eligibility is required prior to starting the role** **What Happens Next?** Once your application is reviewed, our Talent Acquisition team will contact you to outline the next steps.
