Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a skilled Attorney/Lawyer to join our team on a contract basis in Chicago, Illinois. This role involves reviewing, negotiating, and ensuring compliance with vendor contracts, NDAs, and DPAs in a timely manner. If you're experienced in corporate and commercial law, especially with vendor agreements, we invite you to contribute your expertise to this dynamic position. Responsibilities: • Review and negotiate vendor contracts, NDAs, and DPAs to ensure legal and regulatory compliance. • Provide timely assistance to prevent delays and backlogs in contract processing. • Collaborate with internal teams to address contract\-related queries and issues effectively. • Analyze and interpret contract terms to mitigate risks and safeguard organizational interests. • Ensure alignment with corporate policies and legal standards during contract review. • Offer legal advice on vendor agreements, particularly those involving SaaS and commercial arrangements. • Maintain accurate records of contract negotiations and amendments. • Stay updated on industry best practices and legal developments related to vendor contracts. • Proven experience as an Attorney/Lawyer specializing in corporate and commercial law. • Strong background in reviewing and negotiating vendor contracts, NDAs, and DPAs. • Familiarity with SaaS agreements and vendor\-related legal issues. • Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail in contract review. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts with tight deadlines. • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external vendors. • Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction. • Availability to provide flexible and timely support as contract needs arise. The pay range for this position is $60 to $75\. Benefits available to contract/contract professionals, include medical, vision, dental, and life and disability insurance.
