Associate Manager- Civil

**Responsibilities** * Lead and manage civil engineering activities including site supervision, construction, quality control, and maintenance for thermal power plant projects. \- Develop, review, and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure timely and cost\-effective project delivery aligned with organizational goals. \- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and environmental regulations. \- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate delays or quality issues. \- Oversee procurement of civil materials and ensure adherence to specifications, vendor evaluation, and cost optimization. \- Champion the adoption of best engineering practices, innovation, and new technologies to enhance project execution and infrastructure sustainability. \- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders. \- Collaborate closely with the health, safety, and environment (HSE) teams to enforce safety policies, conduct risk assessments, and promote a culture of zero harm. \- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers and site staff, fostering a learning environment consistent with Adani’s leadership and development philosophy. \- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on enhancing operational efficiency, reducing downtime, and optimizing resource utilization. \- Liaise with regulatory authorities for obtaining necessary approvals, clearances, and compliance audits. \- Support budgeting and financial planning activities for civil projects, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. \- Participate actively in strategic planning sessions to align civil engineering efforts with Adani’s long\-term vision of sustainable growth and energy security. \- Maintain strong stakeholder relationships, including contractors, vendors, government agencies, and internal departments to facilitate smooth project execution. \- Ensure documentation integrity for all civil engineering activities, including quality records, safety reports, and project logs. \- Implement and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure structural integrity and reliability of thermal power plant infrastructure. **Qualifications** Education Qualification\- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university or institute. \- Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is preferred. Certification Required\- PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification is an advantage. \- Certification in Construction Safety or HSE Management will be beneficial. \- Professional Engineer (PE) license or Chartered Engineer status is desirable.
