Associate Lawyer

**Litigation Associate (4–6 Years Call)** **Walker Law – Toronto, ON** Walker Law is a boutique litigation firm in Toronto seeking a Litigation Associate with 4–6 years of experience to join our team. This is a new hybrid position created to support our growing practice with 2\-3 days in office attendance required. This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to gain strong, hands\-on advocacy experience and work closely with experienced litigators on complex matters. You will work on a variety of litigation files with a focus on property disputes, construction liens, and fraud. You will take ownership of files, attend court regularly, and independently handle key steps in the litigation process. **Responsibilities** * Manage litigation files from start to finish * Conduct examinations for discovery and other out\-of\-court examinations independently * Draft pleadings, motion materials, and written advocacy * Appear on motions and, where applicable, appellate matters (including the Court of Appeal) * Work closely with senior lawyers on complex cases * Support client development and contribute to firm growth * Mentor junior lawyers and students **Requirements** * 4–6 years of litigation experience * Direct experience in property disputes, construction liens, and/or fraud * Experience arguing motions; appellate experience is an asset * Trial experience is an asset * Strong analytical thinking and problem\-solving skills * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities **Compensation \& Benefits** * We offer generous compensation and benefits package.
