**Job Description**
As an Associate Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the deployment of Mega Projects within the Fixed Network Development department. Your primary focus will be on the technical aspects of these projects, including site surveys, testing, and ensuring compliance with contractual specifications. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to facilitate the execution of these projects, providing professional guidance and support throughout the process.
**Responsibilities**
* Conduct site surveys and resolve issues to enable link provisioning.
* Arrange exchange access for contractors and ensure safe and efficient testing.
* Manage material issuance and logistics to support contractors' work.
* Follow up with stakeholders to obtain necessary permits and access.
* Prioritize and closely monitor fiber links via GPON.
* Ensure end\-to\-end testing and documentation using approved equipment.
* Conduct project inspections and maintain acceptance records.
* Reduce wait times and ensure timely project completion.
* Update site records, project documents, and as\-built drawings.
* Monitor and update relevant applications and portals daily.
**Qualifications**
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of civil and cable testing procedures.
* Excellent problem\-solving and analytical skills.
* Proficiency in using testing equipment and tools.
* Good understanding of Etisalat standards and procedures.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and with diverse stakeholders.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Willingness to stay updated with industry developments.
* Valid UAE driving license (preferred).
