Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and hands\-on **Assistant Operations Manager** to support the daily operations of our Inn. This leadership role works closely with the Owner to ensure smooth, efficient operations while maintaining a strong focus on guest satisfaction, team engagement, and overall property excellence.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail\-oriented, financially savvy, and passionate about hospitality. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and the ability to lead by example in a dynamic, guest\-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support daily Inn operations and service standards.
* Assist with reservations, check\-in/check\-out, and guest communications.
* Monitor guest feedback and assist with service recovery.
* Conduct regular room and property inspections.
* Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and coaching staff.
* Support payroll timekeeping and ensure policy compliance.
* Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional standards.
* Maintain accurate QuickBooks records and daily cash audits.
* Assist with revenue management and inventory control.
* Ensure compliance with operating procedures and controls.
* Provide support and oversight to housekeeping, maintenance, and grounds.
* Assist in marketing and advertising.
* Ensure property, facilities, and work areas meet quality standards.
* Perform other responsibilities as assigned by Ownership.
* Strong leadership, delegation, and organizational skills.
* Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
* Degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.
* 5–10 years of hospitality experience.
* Experience with financial accounting, staff supervision, and problem resolution.
* Strong computer skills; QuickBooks experience preferred.
