Assistant Manufacturing Manager

**Job Title:** Asst Manufacturing Manager **Location: Chhindwara** **Grade: 1D** **Main Job Purpose:** Manufacturing Manager has overall responsibility for a unit within a factory. The MM leads all deliverables of the unit on SHE, Quality, Cost, Service \& ER end to end and is a key member of the factory leadership team reporting to the factory manager. **Key Accountabilities:** * Deliver al core KPIs of his/her unit including * SHE – Leading Indicators. Ensure compliance to all established SHE systems * Quality – DPMU reduction thru focused QIPs, hygiene improvements * Productivity – meeting OEE Glide path \& driving capacity improvements * Service – Ensure plan compliance and adapt to planner changes. * Costs – Meeting ManEx Cost targets; Owns RR and works to improve efficiencies * in line with lower repair costs by using WCM principles. * Wastage – Driving technical efficiency reduction * Controls – Ensuring all Control elements are fully met * Innovation / Technology / Process Changes – Work with suit to land OTIFQ * People – Ensure motivated shopfloor work force to deliver best results. * Continuous Improvement – Lead Kaizen / Continuous improvement mindset in factory through employee engagement. * Support factory manager (as a member of the factory leadership team) to execute factory master plan \& on key operational decisions. **Key SOL’s:** * Strong Bias for Action * People Management, Building Talent * Accountability \& Responsibility \- Ownership **Professional Skills:** * Minimum BE/B.Tech in engineering. * Worked reasonably on shopfloor managing multiple front\-line executives \& blue\-collar workforce * Experience Required: 5\-8 years of experience in production/Engineering. * FMCG experience **Contacts:** **Internal:** Blue collar Workforce Supply Planning Manex SUIT / R\&D \& CQA Core Factory Functions like SHE, Q, FE, HR, etc Procurement **External:** RPM Suppliers, as applicable Job Workers/ Contractors OEMs – equipment manufacturers
