If you’re looking to work where **scale meets purpose** , **complexity fuels learning** , and **culture isn’t an afterthought** , Porter is the place. **Role Overview** We are looking for an Assistant Manager – People Systems \& Digitization to own and drive the effectiveness of our HR tools, including HRMS **Darwinbox and Freshservice (Helpdesk)** . This role will act as the **central owner of People systems (Darwinbox HRMS) and workflows** , ensuring seamless implementation, driving adoption, strong system reliability, and continuous improvement through digitization and automation. The role requires a strong combination of **system understanding, problem\-solving, and cross\-functional coordination** . You will work closely with **People Operations, IT, Process teams, and external vendors** to troubleshoot issues, optimize workflows, and implement system enhancements. This is a **high\-ownership individual contributor role** , critical to ensuring that People Processes runs on **robust, scalable, and efficient systems** . **Key Responsibilities** **1\. HRMS Ownership (Darwinbox)** * Own end\-to\-end **Darwinbox system management and configuration** * Manage and optimize modules across **employee lifecycle (onboarding, attendance, leave, letters, etc.)** * Drive continuous improvements in **workflows, configurations, and system usability** * Ensure system alignment with **People policies and operational processes** **2\. Helpdesk Management (Freshservice)** * Own and manage **People Ops helpdesk workflows and ticketing system** * Ensure **timely resolution of employee queries within defined SLAs** * Analyze ticket trends to identify **process gaps and recurring issues** * Improve **self\-service capabilities and reduce dependency on manual queries** **3\. Issue Resolution \& Troubleshooting** * Act as the **primary owner for system\-related issues and escalations** * Troubleshoot workflow and system issues using structured problem\-solving * Raise and manage **vendor tickets for bugs, fixes, and enhancements** * Ensure strong follow\-through and **timely closure of issues** **4\. Vendor Management \& Coordination** * Act as the primary POC for **Darwinbox and other system vendors** * Coordinate on **bug fixes, feature enhancements, and system upgrades** * Ensure vendor responsiveness and adherence to **expected timelines and quality** **5\. Implementation and Program Management** * Drive implementation of new HR tools * Program Management of implementation and revamp initiatives related HRMS or similar tools **6\. Workflow Digitization \& Automation** * Drive digitization of **manual People Ops processes** * Redesign and implement **automated workflows across systems** * Reduce manual effort and improve **process efficiency and scalability** **7\. Cross\-Functional Collaboration** * Work closely with **People Operations, IT, and Process teams** * Coordinate process mapping and implementation of **new workflows, system changes, and enhancements** * Support **UAT, rollout, and adoption of new features** **8\. Data Accuracy \& System Governance** * Ensure **data integrity and consistency across systems** * Maintain documentation of **workflows, configurations, and system changes** * Support audit readiness through **clean, traceable system records** **Skills \& Experience** * 3–6 years of experience in **HRMS / People Systems / HR Operations Digitization** * Hands\-on experience with **Darwinbox** * Experience managing **helpdesk/ticketing systems (Freshservice or equivalent)** * Strong understanding of **HR workflows and employee lifecycle processes** * Demonstrated ability to **troubleshoot system and workflow issues** * Strong attention to detail and execution rigor * Exposure to **vendor management**
