Job Description
We’re Hiring: Assistant General Manager (IR/ER) \| Aurangabad Are you a seasoned **Industrial Relations** professional with a knack for navigating complex labor dynamics and driving a positive workplace culture? We are looking for a strategic leader to join our team in **Aurangabad** as **AGM \- (IR/ER)** . In this critical leadership role, you will report to the **Plant Head** and **Corporate HR** , taking full ownership of labor relations, statutory compliance, and plant security to ensure a harmonious and productive manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** **Strategic IR Leadership:** Develop and implement IR strategies that align with plant productivity and overall business goals. **Union \& Stakeholder Management:** Lead negotiations for long\-term wage settlements and charter of demands (minimum 2 cycles experience required). **Dispute Resolution:** Handle grievances, disciplinary matters, strikes, and lockouts while representing the company before labor authorities and industrial tribunals. **Compliance \& Policy:** Ensure strict adherence to Indian labor laws, maintain statutory registers, and oversee domestic enquiries as per certified standing orders. **Safety \& Security:** Oversee plant security operations, surveillance systems, and lead safety initiatives, including HIRA and accident investigations (CAPA). **Culture \& Engagement:** Drive employee engagement and counsel management on handling misconduct and behavioral issues to promote a grievance\-free environment. **What We Are Looking For** **Education:** Master’s Degree in HR, Industrial Relations, Labour Welfare, or MSW (HR). A **Legal qualification** is highly preferred. **Experience:** 15–20 years of experience in IR/ER within a **manufacturing environment** , including at least 5 years in a leadership role handling a unionized workforce. **Technical Skills:** Sound knowledge of Indian labor laws and strong exposure to collective bargaining and conciliation proceedings. **Language:** Must be proficient in **reading, writing, and speaking Marathi** . **Soft Skills:** High emotional intelligence, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure during sensitive IR situations. **Position Details** **Location:** Aurangabad **Department:** Human Resources
